The hp designjet studio printer.
Partner: HP
My part: Head of Industrial Design at HP (Barcelona)
The challenge: How do we bring large format-printing into the home office?
What design revealed: Industrial-sized printers have two disadvantages: 1) they’re enormous, 2) they’re pretty ugly.
Introducing… a printer that’s part of your furniture. One you don’t have to closet away in a dark corner. Emboldened by the virtues of versatile modern design—light wood, sleek legs, and a clean white finish—this new large-format plotter can blend into the background of any home or office. Design-Milk calls it an “aesthetic epiphany.” I secretly call it “invisible ink.”
